Pier 39 San Francisco is located on the historic Fisherman's Wharf district. Pier 39 is considered the most popular tourist destination in San Francisco. Located on the Embarcadero on Fisherman's Wharf, Pier 39 offers visitors to San Francisco an easy way to stroll and shop and visit the great restaurants and stores within Pier 39. Two levels make up Pier 39 in San Francisco and both feature excellent restaurants, shopping and entertainment. Pier 39 offers entertainment and features a beautiful carousel located in the middle of Pier 39.

Along the outside of Pier 39 tourists are treated to suburb views of the San Francisco Bay. Wind proof Plexiglas seating areas are available for those colder days. From the end of Pier 39 you can see Alcatraz and watch the San Francisco bay tours from the Blue and Gold Fleet come and go. On one side is a series of floating docks where the Pier 39 sea lions have made a home.
